MAXIMS for SUCCESS

–Part 30–

Directions in Uncertain Times

President Ronald Reagan always seemed to have the proper encouraging words when our country was in midst of turmoil.  For example, he said the following in his first State of the Union address:

“Let us begin an era of national renewal.  Let us renew our determination, our courage and our strength.  And let us renew our faith in God and our hope.”

We are passing through a bad time now, and it may get worse before it gets better, but it will be better if we only endure and persevere.  There is nothing government can give us that it hasn’t taken from us in the first place.  That’s why it’s most important to select leaders for accomplishment and not for affection.

So, from this day on THINK BIG.  Don’t be afraid of SUCCESS, afraid of making decisions during uncertain times, and never, never be afraid of WINNING.
